DropSpot requests access to your location only while the app is open (foreground use). If you have granted push notification permission, your last known latitude and longitude are stored in our database solely to determine whether nearby venues are live and to deliver proximity-based push notifications. This value is updated each time you open the app and is never used for advertising or sold to third parties. If you have not granted notification permission, no location data is stored server-side.

DropSpot complies with PIPEDA (Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). For users in the European Union, we also comply with GDPR.

DropSpot is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@getdropspot.com.
